County Players was born in 1958. During our lifetime, we have presented over 200 productions and have served thousands of theatre-goers who continue to reward our efforts with their loyal attendance. In 1977, we acquired the old Academy Theatre in the Village of Wappingers Falls, and through countless hours of volunteer efforts, we have turned a crumbling relic into a living theatre – The County Players Falls Theatre. We paid off our mortgage, continue to make improvements to our building, and still manage to keep our prices at an affordable level. Our promise for the future is to continue on the path of fiscal responsibility, theatrical improvement, and entertainment!
