A: “Has anyone turned in a top hat?”

Thank you to David Schell of Green Kill in Kingston for featuring 98.1 KZE on the front and back cover of their March 2018 Broadsheet! It’s a monthly poetry booklet Green Kill publishes and provides for free in coffee shops and other places people gather and read. It was a pleasure to meet David and have him visit our studios in Red Hook. Who knew our Production Studio was so photogenic?!

Green Kill is an art and performance space located in the heart of the Hudson Valley, on Green Kill Avenue near the Route 32 intersection. Owned by David Schell and Yuriko Sasamoto, Green Kill’s mandate is beautifully summarized by Gwendolyn Brooks, an African-American poet and teacher and a winner of the Pulitzer Prize for her book of poetry “Annie Allen”, “We are each other’s harvest; we are each other’s business; we are each other’s magnitude and bond.”

Visit their website to learn more, and support local arts & live music!   https://greenkill.org/

From Joe Esposito to his wife, Rose.  Happy Birthday Rose!
Rose and I both residents of Ulster County crossed paths in out youth
    without having met.
Once in 1968 I did a painting of a Rose and hung it in my family
    home.
Since then we had separate lives, Rose had two children
Stacy and Matt, and became widowed.
Eventually in 1982 mutual friends (Purple) Steve and Joanie introduced us,
two years later we married and Rose had two more children Madeline
    and Samara.
During renovation of my family home in 2009, our friend Bill
commented when he found the “Rose Painting”
” Rose has always been in your life“.
We take the “Rose Painting” with us to wherever we live. Currently we
have four children in four decades and you can easily say there is a lot of
heart on Valentines Day, Rose’s 71st birthday.
Best to all in sharing such happiness.
